Reetali held a smirk as she spied the kingdom in the distance through her spyglass. They were nearly at their destination and she would finally get some real rest that didn't involve the sensation of motion and hitting pebbles and rocks on the road. She looked to her brother below who sat upon the steps with reigns in hand. He looked bored to her but he always has. In fact, he isn't very expressive. Same old bored look and all that jazz, but that wasn't truly the case as of that moment. Ethan has for some time heard echoes of yells and pounding of hooves in the distance. He couldn't make out where they came from other than the noise was getting louder and nearer. He merely kept his eyes open while listening to any chnges while Reetali continued to be herself.
"How much longer do you think we'll be? I'm getting tired of not doing anythinggg." she jokingly complained to him. Ethan in turn grunted a "Hn" as was his usual response to most things.
"Yea yea, I hear ya loud and clear... at this rate I'll walk their faster but whatever." She muttered the last bit to herself as she went back inside and plopped herself upon her bed filled with an assortment of cushions. She lazily looked out the side window, peaking at the sky in her own boredom.

Dekard, to put it bluntly, was in trouble. Big trouble. "I swear this is a little overkill for one thief!" He yelled back at the guards chasing him, I mean he wasn't necessarily that bad to warrant what sounded like the cavalry chasing him. Ducking under branches and vaulting over logs and stones he prayed for a miracle. Okay He thought to himself. I know this is a gambler's prayer and whatever god hears this should know this is the most desperate kind of prayer, I know I'm not a good guy and if you do anything about this I'm not exactly gonna become religious or anything but just help me out here. He was honestly and truly desperate for anything to save him.
That's when he saw it, the caravan, decorated and stood out from the forest. He knew he had one shot at this and he really needed to have an excuse for why he did what he was about to do. But that was for after this. He ran for the open window on the side of the caravan. He got lucky, there was a small rock he could ue to get the extra height off a jump and swung in through the window using the overhang from the roof as a part to grip onto, quickly planting his feet on the ground inside. He wouldn't have had the control he had if the caravan was moving faster. "Hah! Just like the time I had to--" He was going to start an elaborate story but then he realised there was an elven woman laying among a bed with a large amount of cushions on it. He leaned against the inner wall of the caravan having to hunch over a little due to his height. "Hey you err... Got room for one more here? I kinda need it, being pursued by guards and all." He stated calmly and kind of jokingly. "But seriously help me please I'm desperate" His voice suddenly shifted to a panicked tone and his stance lowered to something along the lines of begging, you know about as much as he can look like he is begging in a moving caravan too small for him.

Reetali stared wide-eyed as the man slipped through her window and perfectly landed away from all the expensive and precious carpets and throws and instead made a mess of her hardwood floor. Her coromandel ebony wood that is.
"Hah! Just like the time I had to--" Reetali bored holes into the stranger after giving her brother, who had unsheathed his sword and very much ready to pounce upon the poor man, a look as if to say 'I will deal with him my way so stay out of it.' Ethan merely stared back for a few seconds longer before he settled and turned back around to face the dirt road again. She held the handle of her saber but dared not use it, at least not inside where her precious items could receive damage. The elven man hunched over slightly as she stood from her lax state. "Hey you err... Got room for one more here? I kinda need it, being pursued by guards and all." He asked almost jokingly which threw her off for the most part with brows raised in incredulity. "But seriously help me please I'm desperate" The sudden shift from joking to clearly panic was enough to keep her flabbergasted for a moment or two. The sound of hooves and calls echoing through the trees was enough to set her straight again and a sly grin formed.
"I dare say, you've got a lot of nerve to be barging into my home, sully my floors with your filthy clumps you call boots, and the audacity to ask for my help." With each emphasis she stepped closer to the begging man and stared him down now that he was essentially at eye level with her. She let him ramble away and beg some more for maximum effective fear induction before she would give pause and silence him with a finger placed on his lips. "If you are truly desperate enough, I suggest you be careful where you step and hide away beneath the safety of those cushions." She tilted her head in reference to where she had been lounging previously at what looked to be a love seat draped in fine cloth, but on a closer inspection one could see the woodwork connecting it to the walls and floors. It was in fact, a built-in container large enough to fill with the man alongside with the pillows and blankets already in there.

The tall elf stood there silenced by the woman who placed a finger on his lips, If you are truly desperate enough, I suggest you be careful where you step and hide away beneath the safety of those cushions.
That was the plan apparently but he couldn't exactly argue especially not with the man on the reigns potentially about to introduce his blade to Dekard's throat. He calmly and quickly took off his boots and slid them to the side, out of the way and not near anything expensive. He then tilted his head slightly at this bed, chair, cushion-y mess at the back of the caravan.
"Fuck, who's eyes did you have to steal to afford this. Must've cost you four fortunes." He shrugged off the statement as there wasn't time for questions, he swiftly and quietly dropped into the pillows and covered himself with them. He continued to control his breathing so that he didn't give away his position. "Why do you even need this many pillows! Back at my warehouse I had a bed, you know what I had on that, one pillow and fuck all else, and it worked, this just seems overly expensive and impractical." He leant back underneath the pillows "... And hell if this isn't the most comfortable thing in the world."
"You better not try and use this as an opportunity to smother me than rob me blind or I swear I'll... Do... Something..." He quickly shut up after that hoping he wasn't going to get stabbed or hit while under the pillows due to there being no way of him seeing it coming.
