Name: Elyx Reiaki
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Height: 5', 10"
Weight: 125 Pounds
Rank: Citizen
Basic Appearance:
- Due to the fact that he is a traveling rogue, he more often than not keeps a black cloak on his body during most times, and naturally, the cloak would cover his face when he wants to hide his identity. His goal was to hide his face however, so he wears it in an awkward way that just does that, but brings more attention onto him anyways. However, while the hood is no longer over his head, a brunette-haired young man will reveal his face to the little population in front of him. His hair is evenly spiky all around, almost no flat areas whatsoever while it is in this mess of a form. It has been a while since he ever looked formal, so his hair has been adapting to it's usual rogue-like form. His eyes are neither sharp nor innocent, but blank rather. Unfortunately, they are unable to hide all emotions due to them being aqua coloured, almost like a clear sky. His build is rather rough on the upper half of his body, being in many melee involved battles, he made sure to regularly practice self-defense everyday. A gray chain will be hanging from his long blue pants, that chain swaying from the left pocket. It connects to his memory pocketwatch, which he makes sure to keep concealed at all costs. Finally, there is a white knapsack on his back, in rather poor condition due to it's excessive use and travel, brown dirt stains painting it's surface in a painfully obvious way.
Combat Credentials
Combat Style: His main focus in attacks is to use his Dream/Nightmare influcence magic to force his opponents into submission due to mental pain. This can be done with heavy amounts of illusions, manipulation, and even fears if Elyx were to go so far as to torment them. That is what his magic is based on, casting illusions and creating nightmares. The next resort is to use physical pain, using his magic, though that is not as effective. True, the magic he uses has the ability to inflict damage onto opponent, but nothing too critical however. Regardless, it is much more effective than him in melee combat, in which he is unable to fight with weapons using his own two hands. The man was never trained to do so, therefore, he is rather ditzy with weaponry unless his magic is involved with them.
Abilities:
Dream Imagery: The ability to create illusions from his mind, and to only (Once per thread) create an illusion by looking into the memories of one target. This illusion is (as we all know) fake, and only can resemble the looks of one thing. The illusions are unable to speak nor can they interact with others, they are basically puppets to be controlled by the wielder.
Internal Struggle: With a bit of time, he is able to relief one target of their current fears for a few minutes, which tends to help his allies mentally during war, and possibly same them all from unfortunate events worse than death.
Crypt Shield: The user can put out both of their hands to create a shield bubble that shatters after a hit, stopping an attack enough to stall for a few seconds. Not recommended for taking on multiple enemies, nor taking on attacks that involve rapidfire projectiles.
Sleep Dreams: The user can put one target to sleep for a few minutes, making them heavily vulnerable to attacks for that period of time.
Dream Shatter: The user can cast this spell out to force a copy shield, a shield designed to look like him and surround his body. While in it, he can't move, but when the shield takes a hit, the shield shatters and the user takes no knockback, forcing the enemy in a vulnerable state.
-Dream Weaponry: Once per turn, the user can use Dream magic to craft a normal weapon of equal ranking to their rank. Being a normal weapon, it does not have any abilities nor does it have any magic.
-Dreamrail: The user has the ability to summon the Dreamrail. The Dreamrail is a rail that accelerates the one who jumps onto it. As the user rides on the Dreamrail, their minds create more of the rail as they continue to go onto it. It is like someone grinding down a rail, but it can be done in any direction and will keep going until the user jumps off of the rail. This is good for evasion and to gain a bit of height as well.
-Levitation Image:Whenever the user is casting out Dream magic that summons a form of weapon, they can control the weapon with their minds, keeping the users hands from behind used, yet the weapons can still attack with physical damage. This can be done with up to five weapons
Weapon(s): Currently, no weapons other than his magic.
Gear: A black cloak worn incorrectly to cover his face, little does he know that only bring more attention onto him and his white knapsack to carry clothes and food. There is nothing special about his attire.
Background
Raised in a foreign country known as Shadelle, a tribe that is based on survival of the fittest, or get executed otherwise. Elyx was raised in this tribe, and was taught all of the concepts he needed to learn magic by the age of five, very young, but what does a dictatorship care for age? Shadelle has put a certain time for parents to teach their child how to fight and use magic, the whole course being until the child is eighteen. If even one late bloomer is seen with a lesson they should have learned failing, the parents both are killed right in front of the child, but the child is left unharmed. Eventually, the child will be unable to feed themselves, clothes themselves, and after a few slowly pain-filled days, the child goes down to the grave with their parents. Nea and Silico Reiaki were parents of Elyx, and they were rather fortunate to have a child that loved to learn about magic, so there was not a moment in which his parents were even interrogated by the executers. By the age of eight, he has learned the type of magic that he is able to use, simply moving objects with his mind and pushing them over to other locations.
By this time, the boy was becoming a little bit more aware of the situations going on around him. Being ignorant and a child, he was expected to be fooled. However, he was a rather bright child, and was able to notice what was unethical about a few houses screaming, why some would never have people come out of their houses again after the screaming. Why didn't his end up the same way? This unfortunately caused his to slack on his studies a little bit, so that he could focus a little bit more on this case. Nea and Silico were unable to catch up on this however, and so they continued with their regular methods instead of trying to improve it. They were unable to catch him on this, giving Elyx plenty of time to find out what happened to the people by the age of thirteen. By this time, he was able to create illusions and use light and dark magic. However, he was unable to explain why some people were being murdered, so he decided to go outside a little bit more now. The lessons were being taugtht and turned in just in time now, not ahead of schedule like before. His parents were a little scared now, but had faith in Elyx that he knew what he was doing... Big mistake. By the age of 17, he witnessed two parents being yelled at by one of the executers, an axe in his hand. The reason was yelled rather loud and clear, then two swings and two dead bodies. The cruelty... So that was what happened to the children parents who couldn't teach their children in time. The crying little girl, screaming, kicking on the ground as the men left her to mentally suffer. By this time, he was able to use sleeping magic, and so by walking in, he gave her a peace of mind before picking her up and taking him over to his house. She should be safe there.
Two dead bodies were there as a nice little welcome home treat, his studies slacking heavily to the point in which they didn't even have to do it in front of his eyes anymore. The child in his arms, that was the only one he had left to call a family member. One who shared the same fate as him, one who cried just as heavily as he did due to the unfairness of Shadelle... Their education system caused them so much pain. Though the girl would probably rather be homes, Elyx quickly made a break for it out of Shadelle with a black cloak loosely over his head. The girl on his back got one of her own as well, though it was his coat, so it was expected that it would be a little bit too big for her. A lucky excape from the country, though there are bounty hunters after the two of them for leaving, they were able to press far for four years, wanting to find a break. Etirath...
