Stacks upon stacks of invaluable knowledge fill the antique, oaken shelves, ancient titles and newer works alone. To the untrained eye, navigating the stacks may prove difficult, but the librarians keep a structured record to place order on the chaotic shelves. First and foremost, books are organized into fiction, nonfiction, and arcana. The reason for the division of the ephemeral arts into their own section is simple; due to the complex and subjective nature of magic, it is difficult to prove if the information is viable or not. A full structure, with notations, is given in the Library Catalogue Archives thread. (Notice: The following system is not meant to be efficient, but instead replicate a standard medieval era library catalogue, with a few more modern definitions and phrases.)

Players can also submit their original works to the library, which can than be requested for view in character by anyone. The following guidelines must be met:
The work in question must be at least five paragraphs in length, but hopefully more. This does not apply to works imitating public records, literary fragments, poetry, and similar products.
The work can detail anything the author sees fit, whether it be a description of their powers, a log of who beats who in the tournaments, or even the common uses of a made up root in various herbal teas.
All submitted works must be approved by myself, Annasiel, before being added to the library. Grammatical and spelling errors may be subject to fixing.
Finally, an in character title and author must be presented. The author can be one of your characters or another fictional figure. If you use someone else’s character, you must have their permission.
Realize this helps add to our lore, and it makes it more enjoyable to check out things written by other players rather than random books I use for filler.
Just PM your creations to me, or use the handy submissions thread in User Creations!
