Shiora stood in the doorway of the library, her body keeping the doors from shutting fully. The beauty that lay before her had stopped her in her tracks. Books were everywhere.. Well.. In an orderly fashion that is. They weren't in piles on the floor or anything, but there was possible way one could not see this as a library. Her body tingled with excitement and for a moment, just a moment, she felt like the old Shiora again. It had been a good decision to make her way here first - though finding the place was a tad difficult for one who was avoiding all contact with others and was clearly new to the land. Remembering why she had to avoid others caused her to move. Standing in the doorway was sure to be a quick way for someone to bump into her and realize who - or what - she was.
A shiver ran down her spine and she pulled her hood further over her face. She slowly walked the aisles, glancing at the titles. None so far were what she was looking for, but every now and again she would take a book from the shelves and add it to the slowly growing collection in her arms. It wasn't until she reached a spot in the arcana section that she stopped. "The Divines and their Kin." Her first reaction was to ignore the book, as she didn't care for the Divines very much, but the further she walked away, the stronger the pull to the book grew. It was like it was reaching to her like a toddler reaching to it's mother. With an aggravated huff, she spun and snatched the book from it's place on the shelf. She grumbled at the nuisance of the book the entire time she looked for a place to sit and read.
Like the Divines even know what happened to me.
Shiora settled in a small corner, literally. She sat on the floor, the books laid out in a semi-circle around her almost like a corner nest - yet none were open save the one that called to her. She pulled her legs up, using them as a pedestal for the book in question as she slumped back in a manner that seemed highly uncomfortable with each half of her back from shoulder blade up resting on a different wall leaving her spine in the open air and her head nestled in the nook where the two walls met.
