The smile Theolandra flashed Arthur yet again caused his anxieties to melt away. The compliment that followed removed any traces. Then she way gone, turning away as she descended down the stairs, her gown trailing behind her. For a moment, the halfbreed remained still, his mind tumbling a thought over, before he began to approach the steps, one deliberate step placed before the other. Seconds later, his gaze was again on his queen, as she smiled up at him from the bottom of her steps. Poetry, as from the beginning, was the subject of her next words.
"That would depend." The thought she provoked bought at similar smile to hers on Arthur's face, his eyes mishievious as he prepared to return a question. "In the case of something good, I'd agree. The more you love nature, the better you write on it." His arms crossed as he moved to the next thought. "But I would hope that a man who writes about death does not have such a love." His tone kept the idea light, a simple contradiction to her statement. He took a deep breath, exhaling aloud as he looked into the sky, then back to her. A quick bow of his head followed, a kind respect.
"Until next time, milady."
